Organic Shampoo Base Recipe
  • Once you prepare a basic shampoo base, you can add other organic ingredients to it.
  • In a medium bowl, mix equal parts of Castile soap and distilled water.
  • This quantity depends on how much or little you wish to prepare.
  • You can either take liquid Castile soap or grate a bar.
  • Mix properly, and store in a clean plastic bottle.
Once you have the base ready, depending on what your hair texture and requirements are, you can add the dried herbs and essential oils.
Dry/Coarse Hair Oily Hair Normal Hair

Now apart from these dried herbs and essential oils, you can also add fragrances in your organic shampoo base. Include lemon, almond, or vanilla extract to the base so that after shampooing, your hair has the beautiful fragrance. Make sure you add only few drops of these extracts as you don't want the fragrance to be very dominating.
