6 Essential Oils for Hair Growth You MUST Consider Using

Essential Oils for Hair Growth
Few people are aware about which type of hair oil improves hair growth. Coconut oil is a good hair care product; it helps maintain hair shine and health. However, it is not as effective as other 'special' oils, when it comes to hair growth. There exist certain essential oils which stimulate the hair follicles and which in turn, boost the hair growth cycle.

Some Easy Steps to Use Essential Oils
~ To begin with, you will need 10 ml carrier oil (most essential oils act well as carrier oils) to dilute whichever oil you want to use.
~ Put 4-5 drops of the selected essential oil in the carrier oil and mix well.
~ Put some amount of the mixture on your hands and rub them to spread the mixture evenly.
~ Now, work the oil mixture on your scalp only, by massaging gently in circular motion.
~ Avoid rigorous movement of the hands for it can weaken or even damage hair roots.
~ Keep the mixture on the scalp as long as possible; keeping it overnight is best.
~ For better results, use a fragrance-free shampoo to wash the hair.

Though all these oils have numerous medicinal benefits, some of them can at times, have certain side-effects. Therefore, it is always advisable that you consult an experienced trichologist before you begin using them.
